Alter Entertainment produces original video content for the Internet. We produce web video for advertisements and promotion and are also part of the emerging convergent industry - finding ways to make entertainment truly interactive.

Alter Entertainment is dedicated to finding common sense applications for new technology - using interactive web video not only to entertain, but to create deeper, richer presentation formats for product information and filmed content.

To this end, Alter Entertainment has developed a unique interactive player for the Internet called a Web-Reel. This technology allows viewers to click on the screen and open up videos on specific subjects, or learn about different products. It has been used by several film production companies to showcase their films.

 

	THE HAVEN - March 2001 4WallFilms, an independent film division of Prophecy Entertainment (Ripper), contracted Alter Entertainment to create a Web-Reel for the feature film "The Haven" by Andrew Bowan. Interviews with Andrew Bowan and the cast were conducted in Los Angeles. The EPK also includes media clips and the film's trailer. The film is scheduled for release in Fall 2001.
Launch the Player (Coming Soon) Player available on CD by request.	SPLOOSH! - January 2001 Alter Entertainment created a Web Reel for the short film "SPLOOSH!" by filmmaker, Nathan Garfinkel. Similar to a DVD, the viewer has the option of viewing the film or watching behind the scenes footage, including interviews with the director, cast and spfx crew on a variety of subjects. Also included is the capability of purchasing merchandise on-line or interacting, through email, with the director and cast.
