Alter Entertainment is pleased to announce that New Media British Columbia, a non-profit membership organization representing companies in B.C.'s high tech sector, has acquired our services to build an interactive web player to showcase the association's member companies.

The Web-Reel will allow viewers to choose the company they wish to learn about, watch corporate videos of each company, read company information or link out to the company website. The Web-Reel will be distributed by NMBC for members on the Internet and on CD to investors, potential clients and potential business partners as a way of drawing attention to B.C.'s new media industry.

Alter Entertainment's Web-Reel player is unique in many ways. It uses the latest advanced Quicktime interactive technology in a well-thought out and logical format. This player combines the familiar navigation functionality of a DVD with the interactive abilities of the Internet to better serve the creative and business needs of today's media professionals. It will set New Media BC members apart from the crowd and allow potential clients from around the world to view their work instantly. This Web-Reel is launched from Quicktime 4 and plays almost instantly.
