Vancouver Convergence Company Launches Its First Production Online
Vancouver, B.C.… Newly formed Alter Entertainment, one of the world's first full service "convergence" production companies, is pleased to announce the completion of its first series of web videos for leading Vancouver web designer Blast Radius. The videos can be found at www.radiozelda.com.
The five short video clips were directed by the infamous local director of photography Danny Nowak (The Big Hit, Hard Core Logo, Twitch City, La Femme Nikita.) The videos mark the official launch of Alter Entertainment, a company formed earlier this summer by Vancouver indie film entrepreneurs Paul Armstrong and Jeanne Harco to meet the growing demand for true convergence between the Film/Television and Internet communities.
"Alter Entertainment is responding to a need for quality video content tailor-made for rich media web design," says Alter Entertainment Co-Founder and Executive Producer Jeanne Harco. "As convergence comes online we are going to be ready to answer the growing content demands of the international web TV community with original dramatic productions, as well as corporate clients who want to use this new medium to display their corporate identity through online video."
"We also offer consulting services to other companies who want to find a way to enter this emerging marketplace," says Co-Founder and Executive Producer Paul Armstrong. "Vancouver is in a strong position to become a leading player in this new market, and we will help companies from the Internet industry and the traditional Film/Television industries broker deals to work together. We are breaking new ground and exploring the exciting possibilities of this rapidly improving technology."
Alter Entertainment is currently putting together it's first round of financing. For more information visit their website at www.alterentertainment.com or send inquiries to info@alterentertainment.com.
